what size tires for kuhmos

what size tires for kuhmos

i have the z06 wheels on already so should i go with 275/40/17 (how does that look) and 295/38/18

The odd thing is, Kumho sells their ECSTA MX for the rears in Z06 size, but they don't sell that tire for the fronts in Z06 size -- or, at least, this is what Discount Tire told me and it's what's on Kumho's website (http://www.kumhousa.com/). Instead, for the fronts, they sell a ECSTA Supra. I don't know the difference between the Supra and the MX, but they certainly have a different tread pattern. Go figure?? :confused:

Don't Mix them
Either use the 255 or the 275 for the front if you have Z06 Rims

I installed a set of Kumho Mx 275/40/17 fronts and 295/35/18 rears on stock 02 Z06 rims last month..work awesome and look great

If you go with the 275/40-17 tire upfront and a 295/35-18 in the rear your sidewall will be bigger up-front. Go to the website below and you can enter the tire sizes and then see the specs. Many have settled with the 275/40 size, I instead went with 18x9.5 rims up-front with a 265/35-18 tire. Make sure you like the look before you buy them. Best of luck.
