97 key fob programing

the procedure is in your owner's manual.
i have a 98.
it's listed in section 2 "features and controls".
in my OM it starts on page 2-11.

Clear all messages from the DIC, then press the options button until the DIC is blank... At this point, hold down the RESET button until the DIC reads "FOB TRAINING".. Press reset again and then follow the instructions on the DIC. (Side note - Have all FOBs present when you reprogram) You can do up to three per car

Maybe he doesn't have an owner's manual, ever thoiught of that? Don't get mad because someone takes the time to tell someone how to do something instead of making a reference to the owner's manual... I'm sure I could point out a page number in the encyclopedia Britannica on how to bait a fishing hook, but it's probobally easier to just tell someone how :rant:

i don't appreciate you trying to twist things around.
my reply to tommyn had nothing to do with you or your reply. if tommyn didn't have a manual he would have said so.
the only time i get mad is when people jump in and don't know what their talking about.
