Im not sure if this is the right place but my driver side panal stoped working today. I cant roll down the windows or lock/unlock my doors from the driver side. Also the lights on it dont work. Could it be a fuse?
98z,
Checked and I couldn't find a fuse. However, are you getting DTC B2202
DTC B2204 or DTC B2274.
Since nothing on the panel works it sounds like it is unplugged from the Door Control Module.
Pull the door panel and check that.

:iagree: I can't recall, but I think you might be able to get to the plug without pulling the door panel. Look around the outer perimeter of the switch panel and see if there's a place to pry it upward; I think there's just a metal clip holding the entire switch panel in place.
There are jumpers in the plug that goes to the control computer under the floor mat. Make sure they are there and that they did not get corrosion on them.
That means no communication with the left door control module. It's probably a bad connection at a connector or bad ground. Pull apart all the connectors and reconnect in case you have some corrosion. Tighten up the grounds at the base of the left and right A pillar. It could be the module itself but not likely. Almost all C5 electrical problems are connection or ground related.
"55", I don't want to jump on wicked 98Z's post but I'm having the same problem with my 2K Vert, passenger window. The dealer tried to sell me a new module for $350 When it gets damp outside or during any rain, it won't operate. Exactly where are the grounds ? Under the carpeting ? This thing is :steering: me

Where can i find the ground wires? Im pretty sure its not he module since its did work for one sec.
The ground connections are at the base of the A pillars, left and right under the kick panels. there will be a bunch of black wires ring lugged together with a bolt with a 10 mm hex head (by memory i think it's 10 mm). If you are having trouble with possessed seat memory try the ground connection behind the seat on the drivers side B pillar. Sometimes that's it. that or cleaning all the connectors including the one under the seat on the seat control module usually fixes intermittent seat memory problems.
I didnt see any ground connectors under the A pillar. Is it under the carpet? Is it grounded to the chassie? I did get the window up and so i know its not hte motor. Is there a chance its the driver side widow switch insted of the module? THe passenger side locks and i think it rolls down. Im scareed to check. Ill see if i can find the ground wires tomorrow. Hoepfully thats it. This poopie sux.
