I decided to lower my C5 today and was able to lower the back end perfectly as per the directions that I found on the Forum tech tips.
I am in a jam now. I was not able to loosen the nut on the front threaded stud (bolt). Instead there is was a non-loosening washer of some sort. When I tried to loosen this non-loosening washer, I accidentally forced it down the bolt. Now the driver front wheel is a 1/2" taller!!!! :banghead: I need some help before I tackle the passenger front wheel.
Also, make sure you put pressure under the spring with a floor jack (put a piece of wood between the jack and spring). It will turn like there's butter on it.
When I lowered my car I was only able to turn the front bolts maybe 1/2 turn and I had to do this https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=90&TopicID=1 it sounds like alot but it only took me maybe 15 minutes on the first side and about half that on the other side, now the front is 1 inch lower than stock.
