What kind of magnet did you use? How big and where did you get it? Thanks in advance!

I've seen old speaker magnets (donut shaped) used. If you can find a horse shoe shaped one which will clear the valve stem that may work too.

I purchased mine from Radio Shack. Was donut shaped and included 5 in the package for around $2.00. I left all 5 stuck together and had no problem with the sensor relearn!

I just relearned my sensors I bought on the forum and used an $8.00 magnet I got at Ace Hardware. It's capable of lifting 100 lbs. Put the magnet on the INSIDE of the rim under the sensor - it will be quicker. I tried a 5.25" speaker but it wasn't strong enough, plus the magnet I bought was a bit easier to handle.
Good luck.

Remember you can do the training of the sensors before you install them on the wheels. Just make sure you don't get them out of order when you do install them.

Just found a medium sized magnet at the local Bed Bath & Beyond. Think it was a magnetic hook or something. Just make sure what ever you get is pretty powerful. Does not need to lift the car off the ground <g>, but get something powerful.

I recall a story on here about a guy that used a magnet so strong it attached to his rotor and he could not get it off.
