Digital Media Players (e.g. PhatNoise) to replace CD Changer
I am still hoping that one day http://www.phatnoise.com/ will make their Digital Media Player compatible with the Corvette, so I could swap my original CD changer with a Digital Media Player -- 60 GByte of mp3s should hold 15,000 songs or so :)
Does anybody know of a similar system that will work with the orignal Bose Radio/CD changer?
or maybe if enough people contact PhatNoise, they will start making a compatible device...
anyone interested? how big is the demand?
the neo car jukebox looks pretty neat. I wonder if the remote display could be mounted below the air conditioning controls (replacing the ashtray and cigarette lighter), and whether the unit could
be replace the cd changer in the trunk. will the wiring be messy (scared to mess with my 6 month old baby ;-)

From what I've read -- I'm seriously considering the NEO:
-- It can be mounted in the rear, just remove the CD Changer
-- You will need an adapter to connect the Neo to the Changer harness
-- There are several people who have mounted the control unit in the ashtray door.
I don' think there's any real wiring to mess with, other than running the wire for the controller, and that's a piece of cake.
Run a search in the audio section for "NEO" and you should see plenty of info. I know Mike Mercury installed one early on, and he has lots of helpful instructions and photos.
