Now, the big question, how does it sound? I know on other cars it made a huge difference in volume, just wondering if it had the same effect on the corvettes?
Man, I couldn't stand the smell :U Cruising it wasn't too bad but at idle warming up or at a light or stop sign it was sickening. Then if you went out somewhere your clothing smelled of gas fumes :( :U
I had Random Tech high flow CATS put on and it is perfect :D
I've driven behind catless vette's. Never again. I got stuck behind one at a stop on a hot St Louis day. I thought I was going to be sick. I don't see why folks thinks this is a GOOD MOD.
Ummm.......I'm tellin' PETA!

Seriously, you actually picked up 10 rwhp? I ditched my cats and replaced them with an MTI Off-Road X-Pipe and i didn't gain nothing! I mean nothing anywhere on the RPM band. Actually I lost 2 rwhp & 4 rwtq at between 3600- 4400 RPMs.
Here's my graph (The red & blue lines are the two "NO CAT" pulls and the black/green is the full exhaust):

No offense, but are poeple really that sensitive? I really didn't notice a big difference, it smelled a little like fuel at idle, but so does a Harley. Oh well, different strokes I guess.
No Cats will definately pick up HP, but more so TQ. You have to tune your car after you cut the cats off because it usually makes you run rich and when you run rich, you lose hp/tq :yesnod:
No Cats = More HP/TQ and less weight, but you have to ask yourself if the smellis tolerable, if you tune the car perfect, the smell is less noticeable .

I'm no expert but how does removing the cats affect engine tuning? Afterall it's the "before" O2's that adjust fuel trims. The "after" O2's just monitor cat functionality.
i dont smell anything bad in mine and i have been catless for a while now. if the car is tuned right u shouldnt have any smelly problems. believe it or not i passed my inspection
Me too! Ran my WS6 that way for a long time, sounded great through the corsa. Cant wait to ditch them on the vette. :yesnod: Just hope you dont get stuck behind a catless car at a long light  was behind bigbollas catless FRC on a vette cruise a while back and got choked up a bit
