I am installing my air/fuel guage on my pillar, and was just wondering where the closest O2 wire was. Any pics to show me? And yes, im to lazy to look for myself. Thanks!
:iagree: Invest $120 in a set of Helms manuals. But, to answer your question, all the O2 sensor wires are clamped to the tunnel rails under the car and that's close to where the main harness plugs can be found. From there you can work your way back along the harness to find a tie-in point for your gauges.
The wire you are looking for is the dark purple wire in the set of 4 wires coming out of the o2's on both sides of the car. You can use either side but I would recommend the passenger side of the engine bay for access.
The front wirng for the o2's has a connector that you can disconnect to get better access. Use crimps after cutting into it for the connection (no solder...temps). If you are using the auto-meter series of guages, the wire on them is also purple.
