Default External Temperature Sensor Problems

Well, I think my external temperature sensor (the one that gives you your outside temperature readings) is on the way out. It's being giving me erratic readings lately or will sometimes just sit on one temperature and not move at all in situations when I know it should and I know the reading is incorrect.

Anyway, can someone please tell me where this sensor is located and how much it will cost to replace it? As far as installation/removal is concerned, am I correct in assuming that it's a simple plug-in connection of some sort?

Thanks!

Open up your hood the sensor is on the right side of the radiator shroud
at the bottom. sensor is around 10-15 dollars & it plugs right in.
Good luck

Thanks, fellas!

Say, Dennis..............get the dyno and LS1-Edit warmed up. I just got done installing my cam and I'd like to get it retuned. I'll be giving you a call in a week or two to make the arrangements. :D

Thanks again!
