C5 TC/Gears compared to Z06
Has anyone one with a stock C5, with SY3500 and 3.42 been up against a stock Z06? Dead stop or roll on? How did you do?

Assuming the Z06 is well driven it should win from a roll. Assuming both cars are using DRs and the Z06 is driven by a good driver I would say the Z would also win a drag race. A well driven 02-03 Z06 should run at least 12.2s with DRs. I don't think a stock C5 with just 3.42s and a SY3500 and DRs can run 12.2s. A stock C5 with 3.42s and a SY3500 should run about 12.5 to 12.7.

I should have said to stay with stock tires for both. I know there are a lot of variables, but I am looking at street or strip both stock (plus C5 TC/convert) not expert drivers (but can do a good job). I would think most with a stock Z06 would be a good driver, but not an expert running DRs.

IMHO my money would be on the Z06 even if both car were running street tires from a roll or a drag race provided the Z was driven by a good driver. But as you mentioned their are a lot of variables, it would not be impossible for the C5 to win under the right circumstances.
