Richie-Iridium plugs are great for what they do, basically last a long time between replacement. Most Vette owners that tinker and tweek quite a bit replace their plugs, plug wires, etc. on a regular basis. Changing plugs etc. at 10,000-20.000 mile intervals. Save the money on the Iridium's unless you do not want to do prevenative maintenance on your car. By the way, the NGK plugs are very popular with the Vetter's. You will probably get some other inputs from owners but I feel regular maint. gives you more bang for the buck and gives you visual insight into what is going on INSIDE your engine even though the Check Engine Light is not illuminated. Good Luck :smash: :smash:

When I put them in I got rid of a slight miss that had been there thru 3 sets of plugs and 2 sets of wires.

Unbelievable! I'm just one happy camper with these new Denso Iridium IT16's ... :hurray: The main reason I tried these plugs was to try and get rid of some knock retard I was getting during WOT runs where I'd average between 5-10 degrees... Well, low and behold, the knock retards are well below 3 degrees… 1.5 to 2.5 degrees at best! All in all, a much better improvement over the NGK TR55’s I was running. As far as SOTP goes, I’d say I felt some extra ponies cause the car ran stronger than before… maybe it’s just me being excited about ridding my KR issues…

I know they’re expensive plugs but it’s money well spent IMO… And a special thanks to James (RWTD) for running the best deal on these plugs… $78 Shipped.

I have absolutely know way to back this up but it's my feeling that the much smaller profile of the iridium type plugs makes for better combustion along with a very long life.
