Re: what is the red fluid (stunna)
dripping on my garage floor underneath my front end. just had a aluminum radiator and trans cooler installed 2 weeks ago
Could be coolant or tranny fluid. Get underneath and look. It should be pretty obvious if it's leaking quite a bit.
Alternatively, put a piece of paper under the car, and then put a drop of coolant for comparison. It sounds like one of your fittings on the tranny lines isn't properly sealed.
The standard coolant is an orangey red, transmission fluid is a darker red. As you have observed a leak at the front end of the car and you have had work done on the cooling system lately I would definitely look at all the cooling system hoses for poor connections, splits, rubs etc. and also look at the new radiator core for fractures.
Is the level of the coolant in the header tank noticeably below normal ? Another thing you can do is go for a drive to warm up the engine thoroughly then lift the bonnet with the engine still running to see if you can find the source of the drips.
EDIT: OOPS ! Just noticed you said you had the transmission cooler added as well, so you'll need to inspect that too.
