Default Dieseling New 2003

My new 2003 on ocassion will "Run-on" after I turn off the engine. Doesn't happen all the time only when I have drivien for about 30 to 45 minutes. This is my second tank of gas, car was full when I took delivery. I've checked with the dealer and they said they filled with 91 Octane. Second tank filled with Amoco 91 Octane. Am scheduled to bring car in dealer on Thursday. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their car. If so what was done to correct.

Thanks in advance!

When you say run on, how long are you talking? I used to think my car had the same problem, but learned it is completely normal to all Z06's and I assume coupes too. Try pushing in the clutch when you shut off the car and see if that helps. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip. Tried your suggestion and so far no appearence of what I thought was run-on. When you say this is normal for the Z06, Did Cheverolet make this recomendation? I am going to call my dealer in the a.m. and see if this appears in tech bulletin. Thanks again and I will let you know what I learn from my dealer.
