Is belt pulley problem covered under GMPP?

Is belt pulley problem covered under GMPP?
I've got that pesky pulley chirp when I first start my car. It goes awayafter the car is warmed up. I've read that many have had to have it repaired. Just wanted to know if the GMPP covers this. Thanks.

I had the idler pulley replaced under the original factory warranty on my Coupe, :rolleyes: ....so I would imagine it would be covered under the GMPP warranty. :yesnod:

If you can convince them you have a problem (they never seem to be able to hear these things...... :crazy: ) it should be covered. :yesnod:

Thanks guys. I'll probably have to leave it overnight to convince them there's a problem. Because when it warms up the noise goes away.

Yep just got mine back yesterday after another overnight stay for the squeel. They only changed the belt, the chirp will be back in a few weeks.

I've gone through 5 belts (3 thrown from car) and I'm on the second tensioner. It's time for a Katech version mechanical tensioner. :rant:

had mine done twice while under warranty, but under the extended they made me pay for the belt...not covered, like so many other items! :rolleyes:
