How do you removed the inside rear-view mirror?

How do you remove the inside rear-view mirror?
I want to hardwire my radar detector into the mirror and also attach it to the mirror. To do that it must be removed. How? As you can see from my sig the car is an AE so it has a little different configuration than some earlier C5 models. Thanks for the help.

Not sure but some rear view mirrors are held on with an allen screw that tightens up against a bracket that is glued to the window.
If that is the case you would loosen the screw and the mirror should come off.

Service Manual pg 8-923
1 - Disconnect electirc connector 2 - Loosen mirror mount tension screw 3 - Slide the morror up off the mirror bracket.
