What are you trying to do? Replace just the pump? Pull the cylinder head off? What?

If you just need to remove the head you can pull the whole bracket off and leave the pump attached to it. If you need to replace the pump itself, you need to get a power steering pulley puller ($20 or you can borrow them from autozone) to pull it off...then you can get to the bolts to remove the pump from the bracket.

JMX I am trying to replace the pump, I have a leak. I thought originally it was the water pump, but my neighbor ("mechanic") traced it and said it was the steering pump. The fluid traveled all the way down and seemed it came from the radiator. I took a closer look at the fluid and it is really oily.

Cool, then that steering pump pulley puller tool is what you need. Its pretty self explanatory once you get the pulley off.
