Default Calling all MTI guys

I've been talking to the people over at MTI about getting their stage II H/C package, sounds good but what i would like to know is how close will this package get me to 11sec 1/4 mile times?

If anyone has this package and has their times I would really be interested in hearing what kind of times they are running and any other insights they might have.

I have an 2002 coupe, A4, with cold air intake, plugs, wires, ported TB, and FULL exhaust system and last time at the track i was consistently running 12.9 to13.0 in 93 degree heat. Most of the guys there said they were running about 2/10ths off their times. Can their package get me in the 11's or atleast 12.1-12.2 range. and i would like to use their stealth cam. I want it to idle smoothly.

Thanks for any comments/info :seeya

Yep, if you're a good driver....if you're not then throw on some ET Streets and that will do it.

put a big converter in there and you will drop .5 right there......with the heads and cam package, you will drop another .5

you will most definetly be in the 11s ..... DEEP into the elevens :steering:

hope that helps

You will also need at least 3.42 gears (ideally 3.73s), full length headers and a hard hitting converter such as a Yank Super thruster 3500 or Vigilante 2800 to 3200 and then you will have your consistent 11 sec something time slip (between 11.50s to 11.90s) and you will also need to hook up and et streets and skinnines are you best option there. If not, then at least the new BFG drag radials in 315/30/18. :yesnod: :steering:

Best of luck,

MTI 427 Roadster

I used to run mid 11s with MTI stage 2 heads and a 226 cam. That was at full weight in the camaro. Since then Ive swaped to a g5x2 and was hoping for some high 10 sec passes but the motor let go on me. I highly reccomend the Heads. They are worth every dollar. Also make sure you get a good converter.
