I have a friend who will give me this for free; he is doing other mods; I have a completely stock 2001 MN6 Vert; will the x pipe screw up the back pressure read by the computer; any downside to installing the x pipe and doing nothing else. Thanks. JWH
Your already quiet muffler will be even quieter with the X-pipe, which is a good thing because the stock muffler sound like **** without one. Stand at the back of the car as your significent other reves the engine. You will hear what I'm talking about. Install the X-pipe. :yesnod:
Thanks for the input; I'm going to pick up the pipe and get it put on asap; I'll surprise my pal with one of them top down deals which is very cool on vertibles; went excersing said vertible today; ate up a Honda 2000 and ate up a Porshe4S; but then I had to back off on the Porsche and he ate me on downhill two lanes our direction 95 MPH curve to straight; I wanted to be sure to stay in my lane as he went past and I was going as fast as I was comfortable with; with his suspension and HP and four wheel drive I knew I wasn't winning that deal; but I made him work his iron anyway---even Basini wouldn't help there; but heck for the extra 90 or so thousand he paid, he ought to get something. We laughed all afternoon blasting the crap out of the car and listening to a live Stones album from the 70's; beats prozac.
