Which Fuses is Which?
Just wondering if any knows which fuses is which. We are trying to find the fuse which goes to lights on the visors???
:lol: my wife made this post b/c I'm still screwing around with this homelink install. I tried to use a test light to make sure I knew which wire was the hot and apparently I blew the fuse b/c the visor lights don't work and the lights on the rear view mirror don't work. I can't tell from the manual which fuses go to these accessories. Can anyone help?
And yes, I know this had to be one of the easies mods but I've screwed it all up. After I get this working, my modding days are over. If I want anything else done to the car, I'm paying someone to do it!!

Per the wiring schematic in the service manual it appears the Monitored LD Fuse, Fuse 2, 10A, located in the IP Fuse Panel. It feeds the visors, MAP lights, I/P Compartment (glove box) and supplies a 12V reference signal to the BCM, through the Monitored LD Relay.
If you are looking for the hot wire, go for the ORN.
Just curious, you have transitioned one of the switches since trying to find the hot wire, and the lights went out? The BCM will cut power to these lights after 20 minutes, if the doors remain open, or the switches remain on...power saving feature. The BCM will resupply power if a switch is transitioned.
