However, my "Evil-Twin" sound/heat insulation mod still brings many very positive comments for all riders who experience it. Thanks again for you leadership on that mod.
Thanks KingTut my friend for the compliments.. Some one else has stolen my thunder on this mod... but that's ok... as long as ppl understand that their car has tire noise.. because there is no insulation... and the fix is easy and cheap...two years later my car is quiet and free of tunnel heat...
It will not be the last time that better marketing (read web site available) has helped an alternate product out sell the best item. That said.
Let the record show that YOU provided all the research, testing, proto type, and inital game plan to address the issue and steer us all down the path to a viabe solution to both tire noise and interior heat.
Now my idea of a perfect tire would be one with a smoother ride and softer side wall at the price of fewer miles under no pressure, but the safty issue of being able to eliminate a "blow out" at high speeds by just getting a "run flat" makes me a life long user of some brand of run flat tire. Or was that a different post?
Swiss,
Just wanted to say, Hello! I purchased my 01 C5 (US Spec.) from Switzerland while assigned to Operation Enduring Freedom and stationed at Ramstein AFB in Germany. My car was one of the European circuit show cars and I wanted to run the Autobahn' for a few months. Had a wonderful time and really enjoyed Interlaken. I loved your country and the people were wonderful to be with.
Take Care!
