Pretty much the same as the throttlebody spacer that we use in the trucks. Most people see a horsepower gain from this and everyone usually sees gas mileage improvement.
Interesting... If this does what it says it does than I would say it is one of the most HP gain for the money... Lets hope it is all real...
It's "REAL" for cars that haven't already did the LS6 intake mod.....
Now, to make my story really fishy - I was going to post my Dyno Sheet, but I left the dang thing at Hooters last night......went back & it was gone !!!

I know how MUCH you guys want to believe in products like this, but come on guys, GENUINE 20HP+ is had from MAJOR mods like heads or some cams.
If this mod gave someone 20HP or any HP at all, it's probably just a bandaide that happened to FIX either a poor tune, a vac leak at the TB or something else. If it does give you power instantly, it probably gets learned out by the PCM fairly quickly.
I know I may be bursting a few bubbles here, but just like there is NO VIRTUAL HORSEPOWER added from rear end gear change, this one is just a fantasy...
Sorry, one dyno swap done 20 minutes appart definitely doesn't tell me anything. It could of simply been a hot run on the 1st pull with a lot of timing pulled from KR or any number of reasons... come on....
Actually, taking a second look at the piece, maybe you are introducing a vac leak at the TB/intake and it may temporary lean you out until the ltrims shoot up and learn out... So, I guess if your stock program ran a little rich, then yeah it'll find some power on the dyno for a pull or two.
How does the TB and this plate side seal? Does this plate have a ridge on one side for a factory like o-ring seal?
my uneducated guess as to why this would work is. an ls6 manifold has more cubic space for on demand oxygen uninhibited by the throtlebody. The spacer in essence does the same thing. the manifolds upside is the space is built in to the design with smootheness. that is what the ribs are trying to recreate. I think gm got the ls6 manifold just right and that is why you dont see many aftermarket manifolds much different from it. I think the reason you dont see an improvement with a bigger cam with this spacer is due to the better smoothenes of the ls6 intake. but what do I know... :hat

Noexcuses - This is simple, forget the dyno, go to the track. Change it out there back and forth between runs. 20HP+ to the wheels will be very evident in MPH.
I can't believe a vendor is willing to bet that this piece makes a REALLY 20HP+ to the ground (or 30HP+ at the motor)...
I may be able to buy the more plenum volume explaination or even increase velocity because of reduce diameter of throat, but 20HP at the rear wheels... puff puff pass
