I was also suprised to see the u-clamps when I got my Magnaflow x-pipe, so I used stainless steel band clamps, and have had no problems or leaks, plus they won't deform the tubing like u-clamps can sometimes do.

Get yourself some band clamps at Napa or your local parts store. You can order them from thunderracing.com if you can't find them locally in the correct size. :cheers:

Right on, Brotha'! I received my $700 Random Technologies X-Pipe and Hi-Flow Cats and my $900 TPIS LT Headers both without as much as a clamp, not to mention gaskets. The pieces appear to be high quality, but the fact they're incomplete does rub me a bit. I probably should have read the fine print (requirements) but I made the poor assumption that much money would buy a system rather than a piece. My Fault!
Anyway, NAPA is a good local source for the clamps and yes, dig deep because they aren't cheap!
