A velocity stack to improve airflow into the filter
Quick release ¼ turn screws for easy air filter maintenance
Manufacturer tested 15-22hp gain

Note: This air box can be easily upgraded to full ram air specs by simply purchasing a scoop kit.

Where do this intake get the cold air from

Looks like it takes the air under-hood like the Blackwing intake.

On the Z06, from the front screens, on the LS1, removal of the plastic fog light surrounds.
Obviously at speed, there is more available.

The Blackwing is similar but doesn't have the directional opening this one does. Small difference but to some, every bit is what they want, and this unit is less expensive than the Blackwing. Only thing is, you can't really upgrade the Blackwing , well, you can with a cold air shroud, but we stopped selling those because many customers had surging when installing them. So with this unit, you can step up with a scoop kit to the VR-1B design.
