Burning smell solved..
It was a foreign object stuck onthe catalytic converter. Road debris of some kind, probably plastic or rubber. It was burned beyond recognition by now, but the dealer cleaned it off and wished me well...........NO CHARGE!!

Yes Cats get hotter than hell.
I was under my wifes C4 changing the oil and I heard this sizzling sound... :confused:
A second later I realized that sound was the sweat and skin on my forearm being nuked.. :eek: :eek: WOW that hurt...I have a purple Quarter on my arm as a reminder of my stupidity..
The motor was only running long enough to drive it up on ramps...
