Which is better for hooking up...
18" x 10.5" rim with 295 35 BFG Drag Radials
-or-
19" x 12" rim with 335 30 BFG KD or Michelin Pilots
The ultimate goal is traction for the street, but I am debating between going with the drag radials on the 18's or really spending some bank and getting new rims and tires (19's on the back and 18's on the front). Since there are no 19" DR's, I would have to go with a regular street radial. Bottom line: what is better, narrower DR, or wider regular tire. At what point are they equal?
