Could somebody tell me where the Injector Fuse is located? Car is missing and cutting out real bad and this is the fuse the local Chevy dealer replaced last time it happened. I have since installed a blower and didn't want to take it back due to warranty issues. The first time this happened, I had just installed a Vortex Ram Air System, so I'm hoping it's something as simple as a blown fuse again.
The part no. on previous invoice is 88909754
The description says: Fuse Kit 8.965
I don't know if this is what you meant by Injector Fuse. If one of these were blown the car would only be running on 4 cylinders.
In any case, fuses don't blow for no reason. There must be a short or large current draw for that to happen.
Why not just take a look at the fuse blocks and see if you can spot the problem.
Has the car set any DTC codes?
I checked all the fuses in the engine compartment fuse block next to the battery and they were O.K. I'll have to wait and check the fuse block on passenger side floor board tomorrow.
It is throwing one code every time I start it: P1133
I would appreciate any input you can give me on this.
Re: Help!! Where is Injector Fuse Located? (vette#one)
Jim.....
Been awhile my friend:)
That code is the same code you got during tuning. That is your driver's side front o2 sensor. Jeremy was saying that if the o2 sensor could be too far back on the header and it could throw this code (as he has had this problem before with the headers they sold you!)
Either way you need to get that o2 sensor checked. Also there is a fuse box in the interior of the car that you can check. It is in the passenger side floor board behind the panel against the fore wall!
BTW,
If that o2 is bad again then that is your problem with the sputtering and such.....not a fuse! The o2 sensors are what regulate fuel and such.

Well, didn't find any blown fuses. I really didn't expect to be that lucky.
Still hoping someone can give me information on how to check for a bad O2 Sensor.
Re: Help!! Where is Injector Fuse Located? (Z06-JIM)
Seeing as how it's not a blown fuse, you probably want to get a scan tool (EFILive or EASE) on the car and see what is really going on. If you are getting an 02 sensor code, then you're probably going to want to get the car up in the air, remove the sensor and take a look at it and/or the wiring harness going to the sensor. Make sure you don't have a crimped/cut wire on the harness or something similar.
Like was mentioned earlier before, the o2 sensor could also be too far back away from the head, so if the bungs were put into the header, they might need to be moved. That would require welding, though.
Hope you're able to make some progress on narrowing this issue down!
