Guage Cluster Lights Not Working.
This is on a 1998 vert. When I turn on the headlights, the interior lights on the instrument cluster doesn't come on sometimes. The rear running lights don't work when this happens. I have to turn the lights on and off a few times or start to drive off in 1st and they will come on. Has anyone had this problem before? :confused:

Yep, sure did. I replaced my headlight switch/directional assbly. The contacts sometimes gets corroded. try spraying some contact cleaner in the crevice and hope you get lucky. Otherwise replacing the switch did it for me.

Have this same problem right now with my y2k frc...
Just had it in to Xtreme and they couldn't find the problem. They recommended the switch, but couldn't replace it right then...
I'm going to buy one now and replace it... Hopefully it fixes the problem cause I just got pulled over for driving with no tail lights!!!

I also had to replace the dimmer switch in the dash when mine went out to get it to work. That was after replacing the stalk switch.
