01 Vert, Auto with 2.73's, and a Blackwing
2.007 60' on Kumhos
8.668 1/8 @ 82.99
13.331 1/4 @ 105.62
Picked up 2 tenths with 10 degree cooler weather (75) and less humidity (30%)
If i go with just the 3.42's will it get me into the 12's on the Kumho's or do I need TC and gears and then tires? How about the possibility of seeing 12's with the 2.73's with a cat back system? I really like the idea of 12's on a regular street tire!
Congrats. I've been watching folks post these #s for quite some time, but until I got my own rear side out to the track a few weeks ago, I had no idea how the many variables can affect them. Here's to you -->

If you are installing gears you might as well do the TC also since it all has to come apart anyway. :)
12s are possible without the TC and gears (check my sig) but you need to free up the exhaust and get rid of TQ managment. I couldn't get better than 12.90s on street tires though. Run Flats suck!
If you got the money do liekthey stated above, gears and TC but also do my options as those will help you gain HP, a TC gives you next to nothing on the freeway, I don't care what your ET is. For those in doubt, go race a 6-spd on the freeway ;)
The 3.42s will put you in the 12s. You will have to get you rev limit reset to 62-6400 rpm and your shift points set 2-300rpm less than your rev limit set. :iagree:
