My Eradispeed rotors are coming in a week.
Still not sure which pads?
Hawks or GM ceramic pads?
Any info about brake dust or sqeaking problems?
Thanks any info would help?
I'd do the '02 Z06 pads. They are awesome, no noise, and stop far better than the regular C5 pads. They do dust a lot though. But I use them with my powerslot rotors and love how they stop.
I'm happy with my Raybestos Quiet Stops! Here is what Raybestos says about this pad:
"The Quiet Stop line is neither semi-metallic nor NAO (non-asbestos organic), but a new friction blend made from ceramic ingredients instead of iron fibers and steel powders, which are found in semi-metallic pads.
These disc brake pads are 100 percent shimmed, slotted and chamfered to provide ultra quiet braking, low dusting, exceptional durability, resistance to fade and rapid recovery."
If you are going to drive the car on the street... get the OE pads. They will work fine and your rotors will shine very nicely. Switching to high dust or carbon based pads will make your wheels and rotors look like hell...

I used Raybesto's on the street lighty and the pads seperated fron the backing plate. There performance is nothing great either
I use ceramic pads. Their performance is about equal to the original pads but they don't produce the visable dust that the originals did. I say visable because you don't notice the dust on the wheel unless you wipe it with your finger and then your finger turns black.
Jimmy-
I've got GM ceramics on all four corners. Dust is much less visable than the dust from the stock pads and IMO, they seem to provide the same stopping power. If you stay on the streets, I'd recommend them. But I don't have the extra power of a Supercharger either. :D
