how many miles on your car?... Thats to try and clean all the carbon out right, someone was saying ur going to have lots of black smoke out the back of your ride! hehe
did mine about a month ago ,actually it was white smoke and tons of it .Your gonna **** your neighbors off because it stinks bad  and it is a ton of smoke ,I fired it up and then took it for a ride as not to get the neighbors to :mad .I sure did get allot of funny looks from people driving because I left a trail of smoke for over a mile .It worked awsome though and I could feel a difference in throttle response .Good luck I am in the Sacto area too ,look for a 98 nassua coupe with a magnusun sticking out :D

Guys, if you're not getting any detonation or true knock retard, I would NOT do the decarb process for one simple reason: Carbon buildup effectively bumps your compression ratio and your horsepower to a certain degree.
Thanks for all of the replys. I started the car this morning, and there was TONS of bluish white smoke. It lasted for about 10 to 15 mins, and then when it was almost gone, I took it out for a spin around the block. By the time I got back it was all gone!
To answer some of your questions...First off my car has 67k on it, and after the trip back to Kentucky for the 50th bash (5200 mi BTW) I was getting some pinging (detonation). This was my first step to git rid of it. So far I dont really know if it is gone yet, a trip around the block wasnt enough to tell.
I am going to change the oil now, and I will post some pictures of it later today.
