99 to 01+ Tire Pressure Sensor receiver
Looking at potentially getting a new set of wheels w/sensors.....question, does anyone know if you can replace the receiver for the sensors/key fobs in a 99 with an 01 version to use the newer style sensors and key fobs? Is the interface to the system the same, just with different frequencies on the receiver? Thanks in advance for any info....

TTT....No one tried this? In case anyone was wondering, with the added expense for the 99 wheel sensors (and fobs if one breaks)....thought it might be better in the long run to update now on the new wheels....
If nobody has tried this, would someone with an 01+ service manual post the pinout/type for the connector to the receiver so I can compare it with my 99?
Also, if someone knows the PN for the 01+ receiver, it would be appreciated. Thanks again.
