Default Re-route the clutch bleeder?

Has anyone re-routed or in any way modified the slave so that the bleeder is more accessible?

I thought about doing that. It would not be that hard. Just get some SS braided high pressure line threaded in to one end and put a bleed valve on the other end. Not much to it.

That's my thoughts...hoping someone already did this and has links to the various parts and adaptors..if not I'll run all the stuff down myself

I am about to do mine and have heard that it can get pretty messy so I'll be waiting for a reply. But if you extend the line doesn't it make the area that is being pressurized larger and in doing that the clutch may not operate properly. Just a thought! I am probably all wet.

Roxana,
There have been several previous threads on the subject of adding a flexible bleeder line to the slave cylinder. I recall that the concensus was that it could be done but only if you had the cylinder removed from the car. There's no room to get at it otherwise. I have wondered whether it might be possible to pull back the carpet and punch a hole in the floorboard to get at the bleeder. I have not heard of this being done, though. If you discover any simpler approach, please share.

I know it can definately be done. The bleed bold just threads into the slave now. I pulled it apart and it would not be hard to do. Adding the length of SS braided line would not effect the clutch play at all.
