Sure- If you like how they look. They will probably not be functional until you remove or cut some holes in your fog light shrouds.
They will allow for colder air to enter the engine compartment, but how much it helps is suspect. An intake like the Varam has had great reports, but that's designed to collect the air right into the intake.
You might consider doing a search for Z06 screens. Last week I found some threads that posted the same screen material as used by GM. You can make your own with $20 worth of screen + $5 in Velcro and + $2 for screen spleen.
I assume you intend to install them after you remove the shrouds. The air passing though the screens will reduce your intake air temp - I measured this result with autotap when I opened up my shroud area. Lower intake air temp has a positive effect on power - not huge, but every little bit counts :) That's why they put the screens on the Z.
you definitely need to drill holes in the fog light shrouds(i drilled 13 1/2 in. holes in each side to allow the air to flow into the blackwing.supposedly a 10-15 h.p. increase, plus a wee bit of a throatier sound.best mod that i've done so far! :steering:
I didn't drill holes I cut out the entire center leaving only a little around the edges. I don't have any numbers be it just makes sense that it would help-plus it looks cool!
I wanted a professional look so I actually installed the open air shroud kit with the screens sold by Mid America. It looks nice and has to improve power due to so much more cold air getting to the intake.
