Quick Please Help! Bilstein install!!!!!!
I am in the middle of installing the front shocks. It appears that one of the shocks bottom mounting bracket holes are to narrow to fit into the factory holes. What do I do??? Does something get drilled or am I missing something. The other side went in fine. Thanks!!!

the peice that runs through the shock eye to which the two bolts pass through can be moved/ twisted.
Do not drill anything.
Sometimes placing a jack under the a-arm may help align.

Twist it around and see what you can do, it should fit. Test-fit the bolt with the shock off the car, and if it goes through, it's just a twist-n-fit issue. If it does not go through, you know thats a badly machined/drilled shock. It's not a big problem, you should be able to re-drill it easily. I'd test it though and see where the problem lies so you don't frustrate yourself.

Well it turns out the shock has a defect from the factory. The mounting plate should be approx. 3 1/2" across, the one I have is 3 3/16. Almost a 1/4 off :mad That is what is causing the holes not to line up on the one shock. However I called Shawn at LAPD today and they are going to ship one out today next day air. I knew I wasn't crazy.
One more thing to make my day worse yesterday, The Fed Ex guy backed over my 18' Bradford Pear Tree breaking it off at the ground. :mad So needless to say I was on the phone immediately to Fed Ex to get a claim in. They were very helpful and are going to pay for a new tree. Estimates are about 200-250 dollars. I bet the guy will be more careful next time he backs up.
