Re: trac control active comes on at 60mph everytime! (atlantavette)
18"s all the way around, goodyear runflats...makes no sense to me...
Because the stock C5 comes with different sized front and (larger) rear tires, the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) expects to see a the rear tires turning slower than the front tires. Now that both front and rear tires have the same outside diameter, the EBCM interprets the difference as rear wheel spin and engages Traction Control.
The system is programmed with a certain amount of tolerance on the front/rear wheel speeds. It appears that level is exceeded at the speed you noted the Traction Control engagement.
Rear tires with different aspect ratio could be used to correct the problem or a reprogramming of modules might work. Several members run same sized front/back rims. You might search the archives for the tire combinations they used.

What exact tire size and model are you running? Goodyear only makes two sizes of runflats 245/45-17 and 275/40-18. I do not understand how you can be running 18 inch runflats on all 4 corners?
