Default Bad Reception

The range of my keyless remotes is awful. I often have to be right next to the car for them to work. I have three, all with fresh batteries, and all programmed, and reprogrammed. In addition, my radio reception stinks. Could the two be related? Any ideas where to look? By the way, it's a '99 coupe.
Thanks,
Bob

Try putting a fresh battery in the thing.

Thanks... That's the first thing I tried. Changed all three. No improvement. All work equally as bad. Any other suggestions?

Thanks... But no, the car is just as it was when it came off the assembly line...
