Default 18's all around question

Does anything need to be done in terms of reseting the computer when I go to all 18's. :confused:

Would there be any problem putting 275's x 18 at all 4 corners? That way we could rotate the tires??? Just curious.

Yes, big problem. You would wind up with front tires one inch taller than stock. Wouldn't look right, would probably rub, and might create problems with ABS, active handle etc.

The computers need to see the same tire speed differential as stock for proper operation of ABS, Traction Control, etc.

In any case, rotating some tires could be dangerous. The Goodyear EMT tires, for example, have rotation arrows for the tire's direction. Normal side-to-side tire rotation would have these tires rotating the wrong way, a potentially dangerous situation.

Thanks for the thread referral! :cheers: I have a Predator programmer that allows you to program in tire size changes, wonder if it will work? Though it appears the EBTCM "may" be an issue.
