Cools the heads before the block, rather than the block first, then the heads...it runs backwards. The theory is cooler heads lets you run a bit more timing supposedly, and that may result in a tad more power.

The LT1 I had in my 94 Z28 had a reverse flow cooling system. It allowed them to run a higher compression ratio and more agressive timing.
The plumb routing is more complex.. but it has its advantages.

So I'll ask again, What happpened to that $800 Reversed cooling Electric LS1 water pump from a couple years ago. They were saying 20RWHP but when they released the price it seemed to fall off the planet.

http://www.joeprinceracing.com I believe it was, They were claiming near 20RWHP on stock f-bodies because they reverse cooled the LS1. They showed graphs and everything. After they release the $800 price tag, everyone lost interest, and now I cant find any info on it. This was a big deal back in the day on Ls1 .com. There's no mention of it on their website now.
