Default Opinions please.

My 2000 Vette runs great and is pretty well modified. But for some reason doesn't seem to have a lot of torque (387RWHP/369RWTQ). I've compensated for this by going to 3.90 gears. Just a few days ago I made my mind up to S/C, now I'm wondering if a cam change might work well for me. I have the following mods. Ported heads with 2.02/1.57 valves, Cam of unknown specs (never again will I buy a part that the vendor refuses to tell me what it is)., ported TB and MAF, LS6 intake, TPIS LT headers, gutted cats, 3.90 gears. LS6 clutch, MTI ram air. The majority of these mods were done 3 years ago. At that time I believe there were only a few cams available. My stock cam was returned in a Lunati box so I assume I have a Lunati cam. I requested at the time the work was done to have a mild cam intsalled as I wanted the have a good idle. The cam I have has a good idle with just enough lope to tell it does have a cam in it. It idles at 850 rpm. Anyway, I'm thinking technologie has changed over the last three years. I also have changed and would like to and believe I could use a more aggressive cam. I still don't want anything radical, just something that would wake up the mods I've already made. Anybody think a cam change sounds like a good mod with my combo. Obviously I don't want to go to all this trouble and expense for just another 5 or 10 horses. But for a solid 15 or 20 I might pull the trigger. I understand it's probably not a fair question to ask without knowing the cam specs. I do know Lunati only offered 3 cams for the LS1 in 2000. And I'm betting I have the mildest. Opinions please.
