I'm gonna have some ceramic pads put on my vert. Is there any reason to mark the spot on the rotor so the wheel can be oriented the same as it was taken off?
I've heard some say it is a good idea, others say it is a bunch of nonsense. I've never bothered with it before, but I was wondering whether it made a difference or not.
There's a big section in the service manual about wheel balance, vibration, etc. Seems to imply that it might be a good idea.

Only if your tires were balanced on the car which is highly unlikely.
