I got a new clutch, and PP installed. Along with the fly resurfaced. Now at 3k there is a decent level of vibration that continues to get worse as rpms climb. I really dont like how it feels but the place that did the install says its normal and just to let it break in . It has been about a 150 miles or so, nothing above a couple 4k rpms just see if it got better, mainly nothing above 3k. The clutch operation feels fine but the vibration makes me think its an out of balance assembly including possibly the fly. What are things to test, check for? Or does the whole car have to come apart again?
To my knowledge it was not. So that seems to be it? Oh and is there any way to tell if I have a bent pushrod? When the engine first fired up it sounded like oil wasnt completely on the valvetrain because there was definte noise that sounded like a push rod. I was wondering if perhaps that bent the pushrod and caused the noise?
How does a bent push rod feel different from a clutch or motormount? I am not sure what it is, hadnt thought of the motor mount, but its something
Just need to start eliminating things, any ideas on where to start?
