Why...? Becuase there's only one true shift kit for the 4L60E transmission...TRANSGO...http://www.transgoperformance.com/faq.html ...the original and still the best bang foir the buck mod on any A4...

I've got one in my F150 but never use it. It firms up the shifts (too much, actually), by causing full line pressure all the time. But it makes the front pump whine like crazy. Can't be good for the tranny long term. I used it for about 3 miles, shut it off and never used it again.

Got it. Used it for about 1 day. It made the transmission shift way to hard. I put it in the stock setting and kinda forgot about it until i read this post.
