driving in rain
I was driving home today in a huge storm and was wondering how people with z06's manage not to hydrolock the engine. The fog light area is open right as well as the airbox? I opened up my air filter with the zip tie mod and I"m getting nervous here. For that matter, what happens with black wings and the like?

Rain won't hurt! What you don't want to do is go into 4 inch+ standing water puddles in those downpours. Thats when you can get yourself into trouble.
Rain isn't going to hurt anything. There is a water catcher/dipersion area in the Z06 intake areas to disperse any slight rain that may enter.
Just stay out of deep water. There have been some horror stories coming from those instances.
The intake that would scare me most is the VaraRam system. That looks and seems way too risky to me! I'd never get that one!
