Default HELP. electrical problems...

I hope this will be easy to fix. :(

I just had a Nitrous Express wet kit installed on my 03 ZO6. I ran a full bottle through it and everything went great. Just a little while ago I hit the purge button and my dash lights went out. They will only work when I stick the key in the ignition but once I turn it to the on position they go out. My headlights are now stuck open. I can turn the lights on and off but I cant keep the highbeams on, I can only flash them. Also my tailights are completly off when I drive. My reverse lights still work though. The tail lights will light up when I hit the hazzards. My nitrous buttons also do not work now. Where do I start?

Please help.

Don't have a manual in front of me, but sounds like you overloaded a circuit, probably courtesy or acc. You'll need to go through both fuse block terminals, in passenger footwell and engine compartment to locate the problem (possible blown fuse). Also check your nitrous Voltage/ground supply terminals as to see if an improper connection or faulty component is the cause of you trouble.

Thanks man. It ended up being the fuse that controls my tail lamps. I replaced it and everything is all good again.

George,
Thanks man. It ended up being the fuse that controls my tail lamps. I replaced it and everything is all good again.
Until it happens again. I would highly recommend that you relook the wiring on the kit, find an unused switched ckt on the fuse block and tie in there. This will keep you from overloading again and the problem won't come back.
