I'm not saying that Greg is responsible for this guy getting hosed now(as he did not buy it from him direcly), just stating the obvious. It seems like he bought a car that was drag raced, street raced, and sprayed without his prior knowledge :bb He come on here and everyone tells him yeah the car was street raced and babied :rolleyes: That's bs, just tell the guy mabye he did not get the deal he thought he got :smash:
No, I am sorry, you are incorrect on your "assumptions and conclusions" about abuse to the car.
1st - Yes Greg did have nitrous on the car - but I dont think he ever used more than 1 bottle (max 2) during the entire time it was on the car.
2nd - yes Greg did street race the car some but he was never a "regular" racer although he was a regular attendant for a while a few years ago but rarely raced.
3rd - when he did race - it was usually from a roll - which does put "some strain" on the car - but no more than the majority of us do when we hammer our cars passing traffic.
4th - He did go to run his car at the track (1/4 mile) a few times and I can confidently say no more than 10 times ever. he was just curios to see "how he could do" with the mods he had on the car - again just like most of us do - but the car wasnt a "track car" or ever setup with slicks etc..
I hope you can get a better picture now - because if you knew this guy - you would understand why I am trying to get my point across - he is very caring about his assets and took meticulous care of the car.
Lastly, I gain nothing personal by responding to this thread - but I myslef am leary about by "used cars", hence I only want to re-assure the current owner of this car that he made a good choice.

Now this is a stand up guy :cheers: I wonder if this guy bought the car from a dealer?? I've sold my car to a dealer and then he turned around and sold it off as a stroker :mad I was pissed off for the guy that bought it because he called the Vette Doctors asking what kinda stroker was it, while I told the dealers it was heads/cam car and gave them all my reciepts and dyno charts :rant:
