Nearly everytime I turn right and uphill out of my street (there is a slight curb there) , I get that stupid message on the DIC. After I turn the car off and re-start, it clears and everything is fine. This is driving me nuts. Anyone have a clue why this is happening? I don't see any visible problem, and it has never happened in any other circumstance.
Re: Service Traction Control, ABS System Codes (teeceemv)
Check your codes to confirm the exact error. Sounds like a sensor has gone bad, like the Steering Wheel Position sensor. Just shooting from the hip here - the codes will tell you exactly what is wrong.
Re: Service Traction Control, ABS System Codes (teeceemv)
I had the same problem last week and it was the right Front sensor.I had the sensor/hub replaced and it cured the problem.I hope you have a fat check book, its not cheap! :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy
Re: Service Traction Control, ABS System Codes (jjcslynn)
My 99 did the same thing and the code was low system voltage, Had battery tested it was bad. replaced it this morning and the only problem now as posted on forum is the active handling warming up message. Get your battery tested if you get low voltage code to abs. John
