Changing diff fluid ?
I have a 98 with 39xxx miles on her now. Is it worth my while to get the diff fluid changed ?

It holds 1.6 quarts. When I changed mine it was very dirty...I did it with 17k miles. :seeya

Since I love to tinker, I would change it, BUT, it is most likely not necessary. There are millions of vehicles with 100K -200K miles with the original fluid and no problems. I have never had a differental problem in any vehicle. Just keep it checked and not let it get low.
