Hesitation on launch....?

Hesitation on launch....?
A friend of mine asked why he has a hesitation or delay when he puts his food down, in his 03AE vert. I don't know, and I don't have this problem. Anyone know what might be going on with his car? Thanks.

Thanks patches. Do you think it could be the throtle control sensor or the peddle p[osition sensor? :confused:

If it hesitates for a second or two and then accelerates then it is running too rich which most stock cars do.
If it just keeps hesitating, then it's running too lean which my car does now when gets hot which will be fixed later this weekend at LG.
