Brakes for the first time.
I had laid the caliper on the right / front on to the lower A arm and it began to fall. As I reached to grabe it the rotor sliped from my hand and when it hit the ground a big chip was taken out of it.... :cry
So I started calling around looking for a R/F rotor. First of all no one had one in stock including the dealerships. Prices seem to vary from about $80 - $120 and would be able to get until the next day.
There is this tiny old Napa auto parts store by my house I have never been in. I gave them a call not only did not have it but the price for the replacement $26.99, for a new rotor biult in the USA.
For that price why wouldn't I always replace my rotors? I am going to do the rears tomorrow, new rotors and ceramic pads. So far the ceramic pads are great.
