Default Z06 exhaust

Changing my stock 99 c5 exhaust to 2002 Z06 exhaust. Anything special need to be done? :banghead:

nothing special; they should bolt on effortlessly (if done on a lift. Also, remove the 4 nuts holding on the rear sway bar adn swing it down.

Make sure you get a pair of gaskets and you'll be set. You are really going to love em.

Supposedly a bolt on swap, but I am still having a heck of a time getting the tips properly aligned. :banghead: This probelm has been reported by a few CF guys, but not sure of the proper fix.

I was able to reuse my gaskets.

If you intend on doing it without lift, be prepared to jack the rear end really high... I think we had 25 inches under the crossmember. The left side needs a little less.

Make sure you buy a sytem that is "uncut." Some guys get frustrated and cut the flange off the end to get them out... that is an expensive short cut.
